Setsubun No Hi

mame maki Today we did the bean-throwing tradition (cleansing/spring/lunar new year), sensei said in iwama aikido instead of saying “Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!” (evil get out – good luck come to me) we say just “Fuku wa uchi!” as we don’t have any evil/negative spirits. :)

We got a new member today 14 years old girl, ex-kendoka. We did only taijutsu the whole practice, no weapons. I’ve learned again some good stuff. Continue reading →
