Grapes Jam Recipe

1 kg grapes
400g white sugar
1 tbs vinegar

White grapes after few minutes of boiling Getting rid of the skins and seeds

  1. leave the grapes mixed with sugar for 20 mins in a pan
  2. bring to boil and leave it boiling for 5 minutes, occasionally stir
  3. use sieve to press the juice and the “meat” out, leaving skins and seeds in the sieve
  4. cook slowly while stirring for 0.5 to 1 hr,
    the less you boil the more flavour, but needs to be thick enough,
    use low wide pan to make it as fast as possible while retaining flavour
  5. put 1 tbs of vinegar to make it thicker and for better colour
